Maury Donahue is joining MWW as Executive Vice President, Deputy Practice Lead, Corporate Reputation. Maury will develop communications strategies and tactical stakeholder communication plans to enhance and protect client reputation.
Maury joins us with over 20 years of global communication, reputational brand management, and public affairs experience. Her capabilities cover the full spectrum of internal and external communications, issues and crisis management, strategic planning, grassroots marketing and mobilization, government relations support, social media, coalition building and media relations.
Most recently, Maury served as Chief Advisor at Rio Tinto. There she led U.S. external communications strategies, managing emerging media and reputational issues and opportunities.
Maury spent over a decade at FedEx where she established and managed the company’s global public affairs, social, reputation, content and storytelling portfolios.
Previously, Maury was a Manager at Burson-Marsteller, conducting media relations outreach for a wide variety of clients. She also held roles with Fox News Channel and the White House.
Maury earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Drexel University. She is active in the Washington, D.C. area and supports projects and charitable programs that target food insecurity and community development. She and her husband, Michael Cronin, live in Rockville, MD with their three children, Cait, Mae, and Tripp.
