2025 Summer Associate Program
MikeWorldWide is seeking summer associates to join our team!
MikeWorldWide is currently in search of candidates to join our 10-week Summer Associate Program, scheduled from June 2025 to August 2025, which offers an immersive 360-degree experience into the world of public relations, communications, and digital marketing. As a leading independent, integrated public relations agency, MWW is committed to offering our summer associates valuable work exposure and the opportunity to learn directly from our talented team members across public relations and digital spaces.
Associates will have the chance to play crucial roles in supporting our diverse clients and accounts across practices, including Brand, Corporate Reputation, Technology, and Social/Digital. Additionally, they will collaborate on a final group project, leveraging their skills and drawing on their MWW experiences to develop an integrated marketing plan in support of one of the agency’s existing clients.
The compensation for this program is $20 per hour.
What we need from you:
- Be a rising senior (slated to graduate in 2026) or a recent college graduate
- Be able to work five (5) days a week for thirty-five (35) total hours weekly throughout the program: Tuesday, June 3 to Friday, August 8 and available to work two (2) days in-person every week from either our New York City or Los Angeles offices
- Demonstrate a passion for and interest in public relations, integrated communications, and digital marketing
- A strong desire and passion to be an effective communicator and creative thinker
- The ability to prioritize multiple assignments; be detail-focused, organized, and deadline-oriented with strong time management skills
- Proficient knowledge of full Microsoft Office Suite as well popular social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, X, TikTok, etc.)
- Experience with media tools (e.g., Muck Rack, Cision, Meltwater, NewsWhip, etc.) is a plus

The common thread through each practice and account is the incredible people of MWW, who value creativity, strategic thinking, and unique perspectives regardless of rank or hierarchy. In addition to my professional experience, my lasting relationships with other former associates and colleagues, now that I am a full-time employee, are indispensable.
My experience as a Summer Associate at MikeWorldWide proved invaluable. I was able to expand my skill set and knowledge about the PR industry through hands-on work in the corporate, tech, and brand practices and I learned about how MWW brings people together along the way. I still keep in touch with fellow Summer Associates and have built great relationships with my colleagues since joining the team full-time.
Being a part of the Summer Associate Program was truly fantastic! Right away, I felt like a valued member of each team I was a part of and always felt encouraged to ask questions about the various processes of working at a PR firm. Favorite memories that come to mind include presenting to executive members of Crisis Text Line at the end of the summer for our small group project and setting up meetings with various team members that I admired and wanted to learn more from. They are the reason I felt so drawn to come back to MikeWorldWide after graduating!
